SANCCOB’s annual 2-for-1 penguin adoption promotion has launched, and you can get an early start ahead of the month of love. From now and throughout February, penguin adoptions are twice as nice. Adopt and name an African penguin undergoing rehabilitation at SANCCOB and get the opportunity to name another penguin at no extra cost.
As a ‘Penguin Parent’ you will receive a certificate of adoption with a photograph of ‘your’ penguin, details of the reason for admission to SANCCOB, and a letter of thanks that explains just how much your donation means.

Funds raised via SANCCOB’s Adopt-A-Penguin programme aids the non-profit organisation in its critical work to rescue, rehabilitate and release African penguins. By adopting a penguin, you will directly support the veterinary care, feeds and rehabilitation of the African penguins admitted to SANCCOB. There are less than 10,000 breeding pairs of this endangered species left in South Africa and when you adopt a penguin for yourself or someone special, that gift is a meaningful one and most certainly appreciated.
